Tom grew up in Milwaukee, bartended in Wauwatosa in the '70s and moved here in 1984.
Commentary, observations and musings about the outdoors, life in general and maybe Tosa politics and personalities will be the order of the day. He savors a lively debate as much as terrific cooking.
If you are old like me you might appreciate this old tale regarding this old artist.
My high school senior class trip destination was Miami, Florida. It included a cruise to and from the Bahamas.
This was the early 70s.
Our group almost filled an entire Boeing 727. I was one of only four guys (hubba hubba) on the trip.
The chaperones were not AWOL but they manifested what I would characterize by today's standards a basically laissez-faire approach towards the supervision of high schoolers.
Anyway, it was in Miami that a bunch of the young ladies went to see this artist in concert.
In the post concert reports I heard that (gasp!) sweaty scarfs and women's underwear were exchanged between performer and audience.
I didn't witness any of it as there were only four of us. And we were...well...um.....
Let's just say that we were sort of...shall we say...preoccupied.
The performer is back.
And he is pretty darn good...
