"First" Fourth Grade Teacher at Wauwatosa Catholic School

Wauwatosa Catholic School is proud to introduce new faculty for the upcoming 2011-2012 school year to the community.  Upcoming blogs, including today's, will showcase the talented staff that Principal Julia D'Amato has assembled.  She refers to these fine teachers and support staff as her "dream team."  What an exciting time to be a teacher or student in a brand new school!

Today, we bring you the first Fourth Grade teacher for Wauwatosa Catholic School:  Ms. Mary Frances Egart, graduate of Marquette University.

"I am delighted to become the fourth grade teacher at Wauwatosa Catholic! Teaching has always been a life long dream of mine that first began with my time as an Irish dance teacher. I was born and raised in Mt. Prospect, Illinois where I was privileged to receive a Catholic education from K3 through 8th grade. I continued my Catholic education at Marquette University where I recently graduated majoring in Elementary Education and Communication Studies. I am a very motivated and compassionate person, and I hold high standards for myself and my students. I am looking forward to an exciting, challenging, and engaging school year teaching your children.

It is a personal goal of mine to instill within your children lasting Catholic values, a love for life-long learning, and the understanding that anything, and more, is within their reach. It is also an important goal of mine to encourage my students to be disciples of Jesus through their respect and service for others."
