Are you ready for some football?

With the player's union and the owners reaching a settlement it's difficult to stifle the excitement of another season of Packer football.

Jill and I went to the annual shareowner meeting last week.

The Pack appears to be on firm financial footing.  I was surprised to learn that the annual economic impact of the Packers organization on the greater Green Bay and Brown County community comes to about $1,100 per person.  Which also happens to be five times that of the Cowboy's economic footprint upon the greater Dallas community.

The Pack continues to lead the league in apparel sales.  No surprise there.

There's a good chance for the south end zone of Lambeau Field to get a face-lift in 2013 adding seating for 7000 additional fans.

This fella took the stage at the end of the meeting.

I admit it.  It sent a chill down my spine...
