Wauwatosa Catholic will be the first Catholic International Baccalaureate K3 to 8th grade school in this area. It is a new school opening in the fall of 2011, sponsored by St. Pius X and St. Bernard Parishes. This blog will update the community on its newest school. Wauwatosa Catholic School's younger readers will celebrate this week!
Help Us Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday! Students in 4K through 3rd grade will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday by participating in our week-long celebration! Each day we will read one book written by Dr. Seuss and relate it to one of our IB Learner Profile characteristics. The schedule of the week will look like this:
Monday:
Cat in the Hat (principled)
Tuesday:
Green Eggs & Ham (risk-taker)
Wednesday:
My Many Colored Days (reflective)
Thursday:
Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You? (communicator)
Friday:
The Lorax (caring/thinker)
To enhance the celebration, your K4-3rd grade
children may choose to participate in the following ways:
Monday: Wear uniform and red uniform shirt
Tuesday: Wear uniform and green accessories (socks, watch, bracelet, headband, jewelry, etc.)
Wednesday: Wear uniform and colorful socks
Thursday: Wear uniform and bring in a stuffed animal
Friday: Dollar Dress Down Day
