Our house finch nest is tight quarters now that everyone has hatched.

You have to sneak-up on these fuzzy little chicks to snap a picture.  Get too close and they all pop-up in unison with their mouths wide-open expecting a meal.  

Here I caught them towards sundown.  Snoozing.

I actually got both adult birds to alight on the basket while Jill and I and the dogs were all porch sitting.
