The Garden Chronicles

Gardening

This morning my wife said to me - You know honey, your corn is looking pretty cute lately.

Ooooh.  I love it when she talks to me like that.

Here it is-

The first planting of sweet corn is doing well what with all the heat we've been having.  It is a foot-tall.

Trouble is that we've not had sufficient rain so I've had to water it.

I wonder if it will be knee-high by the fourth of July?

Fingers crossed.

Watermelons have been replanted.
