Tosa’s Night Out 2011                        Lighting the Way to a Better Community

The Wauwatosa Police Department and the Wauwatosa Neighborhood Watch Committee are pleased to announce that Tosa’s Night Out has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin will be our major sponsor. All TNO 2011 activities will take place at Hart Park, 7300 Chestnut Street. 2011 will mark our 17th annual “Night Out” celebration. Our many dedicated sponsors, participating groups, and fantastic Neighborhood Watch participants continue to make our event one of the best around! Event highlights include:                                                                                      

4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Family Activities at Hart Park

5:30 PM - Tosa Tonight Concert Series

8:00 PM – Family Flashlight Walk Against Crime

9:30 PM – Bartolotta’s Fireworks Display

American Transmission Company will sponsor the Children’s Activity area which will include inflatable rides. WaterStone Bank will host their coloring contest, and CP Railroad will have the ever popular Kidde Train. There will be family priced food and refreshments, as well as safety displays and vendor exhibits throughout the park. Live music with the Tosa Tonight Concert Series will feature the “Eric Nofsinger Band”. An exciting Bartolotta’s Fireworks display sponsored by Dave & Buster’s will round out the evening. But, the main event of TNO 2011 will be our traditional “Family Flashlight Walk”; the 1.5 mile walk will wind through the Honey Creek Parkway and scenic Wauwatosa Village area.

Officially registering for the walk gets participants a commemorative t-shirt, sponsored checkpoint items along the walk route, and more.The nominal registration fee is $8.00 for the first person, $6.00 for the second, $4.00 for the third, $2.00 for the fourth person, with the fifth family member free! Each participant will receive their official t-shirt at the time of registration. 

Our two registration points are at the Little Read Book Store, 7603 W. State Street (telephone 774-2665) and U-Turn Consignment Boutique, 6905 W. North Avenue (telephone 443-0143) during regular store hours. Registration will also be available on the day of the event (while supplies last).
