4th Annual Shred-It / Medicine Collection Event!!

Crime Stoppers, Identity Theft, Crime Prevention

September 24, 2011

8:00am - 1:00pm
Wauwatosa City Hall Parking Lot

7725 W North Avenue

Everyone is welcome!!

This is a free service sponsored by the Wauwatosa Crime Stoppers and the Shred-it company in an effort to reduce identity theft and all crimes associated with it. Help protect yourself against identity theft by shredding your confidential documents, credit card offers, old checks, bank and credit card statements.

All shredding is done right there on site with security provided by the Wauwatosa Police Department. Volunteers  will be on hand to help you unload your car and you can watch as your material is dropped into the shredder. Please limit yourself to no more than 3 bags or boxes of material. If you have more that needs to be shredded, please contact Officer Semega at 414-471-8430 Ext. 5114 to discuss your situation and material.

(The Wauwatosa Crime Stoppers will gladly accept any donations)

In conjunction with the shredding you can also drop off old prescription and over the counter medicine. This service is hosted by Tosa United and the Wauwatosa Health Department and is available at the same time the shredding is in an adjacent part of the parking lot. Disposing of your old, expired and unused medications this way helps to keep them from getting into the ground water and sewage treatment facilities!
