The customer is always right, except when they throw glasses at their waitress and chase her around the restaurant.
According to a Wauwatosa police report:
An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she and five friends caused mayhem at Applebee's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 9:56 p.m. Feb. 9.
The group, incensed that they had to pay a gratuity for their group and citing bad service, yelled at their servers, asked for extra food and caused a scene that prompted other diners to stop eating to witness the havoc.
After telling them that yes, they had to pay their gratuity, the manager heard a crash and the tinkling of broken glass as he turned away from their table. He turned around to watch the group chase the waitress across the store.
Employees held the women back until police arrived.
