A strange-looking watermark on a supposed $100 bill clued in a local business Saturday that it was not dealing with legitimate currency.
According to the Wauwatosa police report:
A counterfeit $100 bill was passed at Gigi's Cupcakes, 2751 N. Mayfair Road, at 8:56 p.m. March 9.
The watermark looked glued on and the money was paper-like.
The watermark's face looked like Cee Lo Green instead of Benjamin Franklin.
