Man arrested for exposing himself to woman in Wauwatosa

A man was arrested after exposing and reportedly gratifying himself in front of a woman in the 6500 block of West Meinecke Avenue at 3:47 p.m. Nov. 29.
According to the Wauwatosa police report:
The man walked up to her and said he was looking for a friend. When she asked him to describe his friend, he said he wasn't looking for someone in particular but any friend. The woman said she was friends with everyone and that they could be friends.
The man then started walking toward her, which she said worried her. She positioned herself to have an escape route and, when she looked back at him, noticed his pants were at his ankles and he was aroused, gratifying himself.
She ran to a neighbor's house and called 911. The man never left her sight until the police picked him up.
He was out on bail for a June 17 arrest by the Milwaukee Police Department for child enticement, sexual contact, and had an open case for retail theft.
He told police that he was off of his medication and he was glad the woman called police because he needed help.
