Wauwatosa man killed in crash that snarled Highway 41 traffic

A 25-year-old Wauwatosa man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning on southbound Highway 41 in Menomonee Falls, according to a news release.

The Menomonee Falls Police and Fire Departments responded to the crash about 4:30 a.m., police say. The Wauwatosa man, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was transported to a hospital where he later died from his injuries. His identity has not been disclosed.

Two southbound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours during the investigation of the crash. All lanes were open as of 10 a.m. Thursday.

The crash remains under investigation, and Menomonee Falls police have directed all questions to Assistant Chief Mark Waters at (262) 532-8702.
