The city of Wauwatosa is offering free critical home repair services for low to moderate-income families.
Through a partnership with Community First, the state's largest neighborhood improvement program, the city strives to enhance the quality of life for homeowners by addressing critical repairs like roofing, plumbing, electrical and HVAC issues.
To qualify, applicants must have owned their home for at least five years and meet other eligibility criteria including:
·Property must be owner-occupied and a single-family or duplex
·Homeowner must have homeowner's insurance
·The owner must not be in bankruptcy
·The owner must meet income guidelines
