Wauwatosa Public Library Foundation announces luncheon, award winners

The Wauwatosa Public Library Foundation will hold its Spring Leadership Luncheon Monday, April 11.

The event will feature keynote speaker Jordan Ellenberg, a math professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and author of the bestselling book, "How Not to Be Wrong," a book that shows readers how math touches everything.

The luncheon, which begins at noon at Crowne Plaza Hotel, 10499 Innovation Drive, will also present leadership awards to area students. Camila Hernandez of Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, George Elliott of Marquette University High School, Andrew Scholz of Pius XI High School, Madeline Ladd of Wauwatosa East High School and Bridget Obligato of Wauwatosa West High School will each receive awards.

John Kissinger will be presented with the Arthur B. Kohasky Leadership Award. Kissinger is the CEO of Graef, a full service engineering, planning and design firm. He has worked on notable projects at the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Wisconsin Center and Lambeau Field.
