A new creative studio recently opened doors in the Village of Wauwatosa.
CraftSpot, a craft studio where customers can make custom wood home décor, paintings, string art, stamped jewelry and more, opened March 16 at 6228 W. State St.
Customers are assisted by "craftologists" at the shop and can take home a personalized piece of art or home décor at the end of a session. The studio offers a number of open workshops, allowing an individual or a group of friends to book a spot in the studio.
CraftSpot also hosts "Crafts for a Cause," which enables groups to hold private fundraising events. The shop will donate 25 percent of the group project cost back to the chosen charity.
