The Wauwatosa East girls track and field team took part in the Schreiber Classic on March 23 at New Berlin West.
The Red Raiders had two first-place finishes. The 4x800-meter relay won in 10 minutes, 50.37 seconds, and Kacy Fisher won the 400 dash (1:07.61).
The Red Raiders had three second-place finishes. The 4x400 relay was second (4:39.32), as was the 4x240 relay (2:27.97). Hannah Brooks finished second in the 400-meter run (1:07.93) and fourth in the 200 dash (30.57).
Brooklyn Blackburn in the 400 run (1:08.61) and Zoey Schertz in the 55 hurdles (10.63) each finished third. Abby Wood was fourth in the long jump in 14 feet, 11/2 inches.
