Nancy Welch elected to Tosa common council, unofficial results say

A new face was voted on to the Wauwatosa Common Council Tuesday, according to unofficial election results from Milwaukee County.
Nancy Welch won the District 3 seat over opponent Joe Johnson, according to the unofficial results. Welch received 919 votes, or 52.16 percent of the vote, with all three precincts accounted for.
Johnson received 834 votes, or 47.33 percent of the vote.
There were nine write-in votes, according to the unofficial results.
There are reportedly a number of absentee ballots still left to be counted.
