Upscale women's boutique Versona set to open April 28 in The Mayfair Collection

Upscale women's boutique Versona will open at The Mayfair Collection this month, according to a news release from the company.

Versona offers apparel and accessories to its shoppers, all organized by color and trends, and will open at the Wauwatosa shopping center, 11500 W. Burleigh St., on April 28.

The store is expected to employ about 25 people.

The store will open in the space between Carhartt and DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse. Versona is owned by Charlotte, N.C.-based The Cato Corporation.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

The shopping center, which will eventually include 1,000 luxury apartment units on its property, already boasts a wide variety of shops such as TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Whole Foods Market, Dick's Sporting Goods, Old Navy, and Kohl's' new Off/Aisle store, among others.

Many restaurants are also expected to open at growing retail center in the coming months, including three Bartolotta restaurants as well as AJ Bombers, Smoke Shack and Holey Moley Coffee + Doughnuts.
