Wauwatosa finished fifth with a 156 in the first Greater Metro Conference mini meet of the season on April 18 at Bluemound Country Club.
Marquette won the event (142) followed by Brookfield East (150), Menomonee Falls (152) and Brookfield Central (153).
Two sophomores led the way; Adam Garske shot a 36, and Noah Katula added a 39.
Freshman Noah Monty was next with a 40, and juniors Will Jusha and Owen Knezel each had a 41.
Franklin Invite
Tosa then finished an impressive third out of 14 teams at the Franklin Invitational at Oakwood Park on April 22.
Greendale shot a 336 to win the event, followed by host Franklin at 338 and Tosa at 344, just ahead of Greenfield (347).
Garski finished fifth for the locals with an 82 (40-42), Katula was 12th with an 85 (43-42), and Knezel was 14th with an 86 (44-44); 70 golfers competed.
Ranking 23rd and 24th, respectively, were Tosa's Jusha and John Frank, each with a 91. Jushka shot a 45-46 and Frank shot a 44-47.
Other local golfers were Joey Genaw, who shot a 92 and finished 26th, Ryan Petosky and Zach Savec, who finished tied for 39th with 98 each. Jake Carr tied for 43rd with a 99, and Brian Volk tied for 57th with a 108.
