"We had a great meet at the Benson," West coach Jack LoPresti said, especially praising Cheri'A Adams. "She won a bunch of stuff: long jump, triple jump and the anchor of the 4x100."
West had six first-place finishes, including two relays.
Adams won the long jump in 16-feet, 41/2 inches and the triple jump (37-51/2). She also anchored the winning 4x100-meter relay won in 49.12 (Azya McLin, Mercy Ndon, Breanna Weigman, Adams).
