May 16, 2016

Members of the Wauwatosa Fire Department and their families spent some time volunteering Sunday, May 15 at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin in Wauwatosa, 8948 W. Watertown Plank Road.

With food donated by Frank's Piggly Wiggly in Elkhorn, about 20 firefighters and their families prepared a meal of pasta, chicken fingers and desserts for families staying at the RMHC, said firefighter Gage Berg. The event was organized by firefighter and paramedic Matt Anton, Berg said. About 70 people were served throughout the night.

Additionally, the department brought two firefighting vehicles to the RMHC for families to tour.
