On a cold and windy day that felt more like winter, the annual Run Tosa Run 5K run/walk and half-mile kid’s run took place through the streets of the East Towne Neighborhood on Saturday, May 14.
Reporter Bob Dohr was part of the run and captured some video using a GoPro device.
The course started at 69th Street and North Avenue and weaved through the neighborhood between 74th and 62nd streets.
The event aimed to bring residents together and promote the neighborhood while also raising money for charity.
Net 2016 proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.
