Wauwatosa's Adam Garski qualified for state golf

Sophomore Adam Garski took part in the State Boys Golf Tournament on Monday-Tuesday, June 6-7 at University Ridge in Madison to open the week, shooting a 152 (75-77) and finishing tied for 17th.

Garski tied for sixth with a 77 at the Brookfield Central Sectional on May 31 at Wanaki Golf Course in Menomonee Falls.

He was one of three individual qualifiers, along with senior Austin Barr of Waukesha West, a co-medalist with a 75 and senior James Maney of Waterford, who was one of the three golfers tied with Garski.

As a team, Tosa was seventh out of eight teams with a 337.

Sophomore Noah Katula tied for 14th with an 81, junior Owen Knezel tied for 35th with an 88, freshman Noah Monty finished 42nd with a 91 and junior Will Jushka tied for 43rd with a 92.
