The Milwaukee County Zoo will offer discounted zoo admission in recognition of July Fourth.
On Monday, July 4, zoo admission will be $4. The zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day and the parking fee of $12 still applies.
The "BUGS! Larger than Life," exhibit sponsored by Sendik's Food Markets, will be at the zoo through Sept. 5. The traveling outdoor exhibit showcases giant robotic insects 200 times their normal size. Admission to that exhibit, located outside behind the small mammals building, is $2.50 per person.
