Annual Windows into Wauwatosa event kicks off at 10 a.m. Saturday

There will be lots to discover Saturday when Windows into Wauwatosa, an annual event that offers residents a behind-the-scenes peek at numerous sites around the city, kicks off at 10 a.m.

The free, citywide event hosted by the Neighborhood Association Council will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 18. No tickets or registration is required. Participants are invited to start the tour anywhere they'd like and go at their own pace.

This year's sites include:

·Blanchard Street Pumping Station, 7300 W. Blanchard St.

·Eschweiler Administration building, 9810 Echelon Lane

·Hawthorn Glen, 1130 N. 60th St.

·Lowell Damon House, 2107 N. Wauwatosa Ave.

·Mt. Zion Church, 12012 W. North Ave.

·Technology Research Center (Muirdale Sanatorium), 10437 Watertown Plank Road

·Ronald McDonald House & Gardens, 8948 W. Watertown Plank Road

·Schoonmaker Reef, 1215 N. 62nd St.

·St. John's Wauwatosa, 7809 Harwood Ave.

·Time of Grace Indoor Recreation Center, 8725 W. Wisconsin Ave.

·Tosa Reef Apartments, 1215 N. 62nd St.

·Tosa Skatepark, 7300 W. Chestnut St.
