Tosa Skateboarders United will host it's first official event at the city's new skatepark since it opened in November.
The organization will host professional skater Grey Lutzka from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 2 at the Tosa Skatepark at Hart Park. Lutzka, who grew up in the Midwest and moved to California at age 18 is known for his technical skills and the distinction of being the only skater to win the Tampa Pro three times, according to a news release.
Lutzka will be available for a meet and greet from noon to 2 p.m. that day.
Bel Air Cantina will be on site, reviving its skater-inspired TSU360 taco. The event, sponsored by Phase II Skateshop and Crime Lab Skateboarding, will also feature prizes, contests, music, food and open skating.
