Wauwatosa police are investigating an armed robbery June 29 at North Shore Bank, 8706 W. North Ave.
According to Lt. Brian Zalewski, public information officer with the department, police responded to the bank around 9:20 a.m. for a holdup alarm. To suspects, who robbed the bank with a gun and while wearing masks, fled the scene before police arrived.
Along with Milwaukee police, officers located the two suspects near 49th and Congress streets shortly after. The suspects fled from the vehicle; one suspect was arrested and the other is at large. A gun and two masks were recovered.
Susan Doyle of North Shore Bank said staff is "fully cooperating with authorities" and is focusing on the safety of customers of and employees.
