Tosa fire chief named to Wisconsin State Fire Chiefs Association

A familiar face around Wauwatosa will join the new Wisconsin State Fire Chiefs Association board of directors.

Wauwatosa Fire Chief Rob Ugaste has been named president of the board for the 2016-17 year.

The WSFCA is an organization dedicated to the representation and education of chief fire officers throughout the state, according to a news release. The group monitors and provides input regarding regulatory and legislative issues and provides annual opportunities for education.

The group recently concluded its annual conference held in Green Bay. The new board includes representatives from across Wisconsin including Greenfield, Campbell, Pewaukee, Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Wausau, Grand Chute, Fox Lake and Stoddard Bergen.
