A Milwaukee man who has posed frequent problems for Milwaukee County bus drivers was charged Friday with repetitive bail-jumping and disorderly conduct.
According to Wauwatosa police:
Kevin Hobbs, 45, was kicked off a county bus at 7:17 p.m. July 21 at Wauwatosa and North avenues because he threatened the driver, made racist comments and harassed riders. He was intoxicated and told officer he was "feeling suicidal and homicidal," comments that he often makes, according to bus security staff who were familiar with Hobbs.
He was taken to the county Mental Health Complex, but was cleared and sent to the Criminal Justice Facility.
Hobbs had a long record of disorderly conduct arrests and was out on bail for an incident that occurred earlier his month. He was violating his bail, which stipulated he must maintain absolute sobriety.
The judge also banned him from riding county buses.
