Chef Michael Feker will create culinary creations to pair with three featured wines -- a Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. The food will be presented in a small-plate format, with explanation and education on each dish by the chef. A vintner will be on hand to guide guests through the wine tasting.
The 6 p.m. event, which costs $31.95, is presented by Milwaukee Home & Fine Living Wine & Dine Wisconsin 2010. The two-day tasting at the Frontier Airlines Center (formerly Midwest Airlines Center) will be held Oct. 2 & 3. Last year's inaugural event drew nearly 7,000 people.
The tasting at Il Mito, at 6917 W. North Ave., is limited to 60 guests. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Feeding America of Eastern Wisconsin. Purchase tickets here, where you can also read more about Wine & Dine Wisconsin.
