Michelle C. Blaschke and Andrew J. Budzien of Wauwatosa were married Oct. 2, 2010, at Christ King Church in Wauwatosa.

Parents of the bride are U. Michael and Brenda Blaschke of Wauwatosa. Parents of the groom are David and Diane Budzien, also of Wauwatosa.

The Rev. T. George Gajdos officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Hilton Crystal Ballroom in Milwaukee.

The bride wore a romantically embellished dress with a fitted dropped waistline and a chapel train.

Maid of honor was Kristen Dvorak of Janesville, college friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jane Gregory, Laura DeWitt, Nicki Budzien, Jenny Budzien and Sydney Busch, all of Wauwatosa.

Best man was Andy Klett of Wauwatosa, childhood friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jeff Illies of Franklin, Eric Blaschke and Alex Blaschke of Wauwatosa, and J.R. Ramirez of Dallas.

Flower girls were Savannah, Sabrina and Sophia Ramirez of Dallas, cousins of the bride, and ring bearer was Gunnar Busch of Wauwatosa, friend of the bride.

The bride earned her bachelor's degree business administration, majoring in marketing and human resources, from Marquette University. She is employed with Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville, N.C.

The groom earned his bachelor's degree in American military history, with a minor in advertising, also from Marquette University. He is a U.S. Marine Corps supply officer at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

The couple planned a one-week honeymoon cruise to Central America and the Caribbean.

The two met at Wauwatosa West High School in 2005. They began dating shortly after Andy graduated and continued dating throughout college, even while Michelle was working in Washington, D.C., and Andy spent summers away training for the Marine Corps.

The couple resides at Camp Lejeune.
