Easter Bunny getting ready for mall appearance

The Easter Bunny will arrive at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, April 2 and stay through April 23.

Kids can get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny at Mayfair's Center Court between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Children younger than 12 will receive a free gift, and photo packages begin at $15.

Welcome the bunny back during Kids Fest from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 2. Fun activities including face painting, kid-friendly music, crafts, prizes and more will be featured. This event is free and open to children ages 2 to 12 and their families.

Senior center offers varied slate of activities

The Hart Park Senior Center, 7300 Chestnut St., has a number of activities coming up.

• "Out at the Soldiers' Home, 1891-1915" by Patricia Lynch, 6:30 p.m. April 4. The presentation looks at Milwaukee's National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers through novelist Elizabeth Corbett's eyes, supplemented by archival photography and sketches. • Morning Movie presentation of "Life As We Know It," a romantic comedy, at 9 a.m. April 5.

• Victorian Tea Party at 1 p.m. April 6. Christine Brookes will wear authentic costume as she portrays Queen Victoria and presents "The History of Tea." Tea and desserts will be served. Bring your own cup and wear a hat to register for a drawing. The cost is $8 for members and $10 for non-members. Call (414) 471-8495 to register.
