Anne Merritt and Lucas Breytung of Milwaukee were married May 6, 2011, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa.

Parents of the bride are Cindy and Dan Merritt of Wauwatosa. The groom's parents are Barb and Jim Breytung of Delavan.

The Rev. Robert Rickman officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee.

The bride wore an ivory dress with a sweetheart neckline and spaghetti straps. She carried a bouquet of red, yellow, purple, orange and pink gerbera daisies.

Emily Merritt of San Diego, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Liz Bergan of Chicago, Laura Bird of Madison, Holly Koberstein of Milwaukee and Rachel McDonald of New Berlin.

Brian Frawley of Whitewater, friend of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Katzenberger of Madison and Nolan Stanton, Luke Perepell and Alex Nieuwenhuis of Delavan.

The bride earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She is a family care case manager with Jewish Family Services and a volunteer Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

The groom earned his bachelor's degree in communications from UW-La Crosse. He is an inventory manager with Geneva Supply.

The couple planned a three-day honeymoon to Las Vegas.
