Kristi Coley and David Stephan were married May 29, 2009, at Como Park Japanese Water Garden, St. Paul, Minn.

Parents of the bride are Bruce and Diane Coley, Wauwatosa. Parents of the groom are Rob Stephan and Jeff and Cindy Johnson, all of St. Paul.

Sid Korpi officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Buca's, Minneapolis.

The bride wore a tea-length white gown and carried a bouquet of Gerber daisies, roses, peonies and lilies.

Maid of honor was Natalie Miller, St. Paul, formerly of Wauwatosa, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Marissa Coley, Durham, N.C.; Tracy Sommerfeldt, Des Plaines, Ill.; and Krista Johnson, St. Paul.

Best man was Jason Johnson, St. Paul, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Tim Coley, Durham; Nick Stephan, Centerville, Minn.; Ryan Johnson, St. Paul; and Sam Bosworth, San Diego.

Ring bearer was Nathan Sommerfeldt, Des Plaines, nephew and godson of the bride.

The bride, who earned her bachelor's degree in molecular biology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, is a research associate at R&D Systems, Minneapolis.

The groom, who earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, is a laboratory manager at Anoka College, Anoka, Minn.

The couple honeymooned for one week in Northern Wisconsin and the Apostle Islands. They reside in Minneapolis.
