Elizabeth Krienke and Daniel Matola were married June 20, 2009, at Old St. Mary's Church in Milwaukee.

Parents of the bride are Mary and Scott Krienke of Delafield. Parents of the groom are Gerald and Marion Matola of Elm Grove.

The Rev. Timothy Kitzke officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.

The bride wore an ivory gown with empire bodice and appliquéd cascading lace. She carried a bouquet of cascading orchids, roses and calla lilies.

The maid of honor was Kathleen Owen, Milwaukee, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Katy Matola, Elm Grove; Kristie Matola, Wauwatosa; Tammy Knoche, San Diego, Calif.; Ashley Jansen, San Francisco; Katie MacDonald, Wauwatosa; and Kelly Ziegler, Nashville, Tenn.

The best man was Andrew Harwood, Brookfield, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Ryan Krienke, Waukesha; Nicholas Krienke, New Orleans; Patrick Matola, Madison; Andrew Matola, Elm Grove; Nicholas Pitterle, Wauwatosa; and Benjamin Pilgreen, Wauwatosa.

Ushers were Brian Janecke, Menomonee Falls; Bradley Mestan, Brookfield; and Alex Hobbs, Bay View.

Flower girls were Phoebe Dolan, North Kingstown, R.I., cousin of the bride; and Alaina and Savannah Matola, Elm Grove, nieces of the groom.

The bride, who earned her master's degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, is a therapist in the day treatment school at St. Aemilian-Lakeside in Milwaukee.

The groom, who earned his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, is assistant vice president of investments at Jacobus Wealth Management.

The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia for 10 days. They met at the Matola family's annual rib-off.

They reside in Wauwatosa.
