Bonnie Van Zile and Aaron Weiland were married Oct. 10, 2009, at Christ King Parish in Wauwatosa.
Parents of the bride are Jim and Janet Van Zile of Grafton. Parents of the groom are George and Carol Weiland of Wauwatosa.
The Rev. Msgr. T. George Gajdos officiated the 2 p.m. wedding, which was followed by a reception at the Radisson Inn.
Maid of honor was Sarah Bleau. Bridesmaids were Diana Steffes, Christine Weiland and Katherine Waydick. Readers were Victoria Van Zile and Marie Cassavant. Ann Hepp provided music with her violin.
Best man was Dennis Weiland, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Scott Seefeldt, Alex Weiland and Brian Espinosa.
Ushers were Scott Van Zile and Jay Weiland.
The groom and his attendants wore kilts to honor his Scottish and Welsh ancestry.
Marie Cassavant made the wedding cake, a replica of R2-D2, for the couple, who are both Star Wars fans.
The bride, a 1999 graduate of Grafton High School, earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2003.
The groom, a 1992 graduate of Wauwatosa West High School, earned a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering from MSOE in 2002.
They reside in Wauwatosa.
