Angela Biernasz and Keith Alexander of Wauwatosa were married May 7, 2011, at Gesu Parish Church in Milwaukee.

Parents of the bride are Tom and Donna Biernasz of Peshtigo. The groom's parents are Dennis and Linda Alexander of St. Louis, Mo.

The Rev. Andy Alexander, uncle of the groom, officiated the 11 a.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee.

Colleen Zeidler of Wauwatosa, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Alexander, Janet Shellinger, Amber Jochimsen, Sarah Roberts, Julie Kindall and Kristin Kamenar.

Brian Alexander of St. Louis, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Michael O'Brian, Peter Murphy, Taylor Biernasz, David Kang, Andy Rajec and Samuel Castillo.

Maggie and Ella Alexander and Anna O'Brian were the flower girls. Jack O'Brian was ring bearer.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Peshtigo High School. In 2004 she earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and in January 2011 she earned a master's degree in education curriculum and instruction from National Louis University. She is employed by the Oconomowoc Area School District.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of DeSmet Jesuit High School in St. Louis. In 1998 he earned a bachelor's degree in political science and history; in 2000 he earned a master's degree in political science from Marquette University; and in 2003 he earned a law degree from Notre Dame University. He is an assistant U.S. attorney at the federal courthouse in Milwaukee.

The couple honeymooned for two weeks in Europe.
