The following students from Wauwatosa have earned scholarships from the Northwestern Mutual Foundation, given to children of Northwestern Mutual employees and retirees: Susan Kennedy, Nicholas Mannebach and Michael Rankin, attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Jacob Mouradian, attending UW-Milwaukee.
Kathleen Kruse of Wauwatosa has been awarded the Vision Scholarship by Mount Mary College for the 2011-12 school year, her freshman year.
YOURNEIGHBORS
Allison Yentz, 17, of Wauwatosa, competed in the Wisconsin State Fair 4-H Horse Show in September, where she placed in the top 10 in the state in two events: hunt seat equitation and hunt seat pleasure.
The Live the Dream dance teams from Dance Academy Ltd. of Elm Grove competed at the Dance Masters of Wisconsin competition on Oct. 8 in Stevens Point. The senior team of Nicole Bray, Elm Grove, Sarah Organ, Wauwatosa, and Rachael Sessner, Big Bend, won first place for performances in pointe, tap and jazz. Sarah also performed a solo pointe dance for which she received second place.
