Dog Park meet and greet at Currie Park

A meet and greet is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 1 at Currie Park Dog Exercise Area.

Military and veterans family day set for the zoo

Military & Veterans Family Day is scheduled at the Milwaukee County Zoo and Milwaukee Art Museum on July 1.

On that day, active and former military members and their families can enjoy the Milwaukee County Zoo and Milwaukee Art Museum for free. Zoo admission tickets for veterans and up to nine members of their immediate family can be picked up at local County Veterans Service Offices throughout Wisconsin. Museum admission tickets for veterans and up to five members of their immediate family can be picked up that day.

Proof of military service is required for tickets.

Wauwatosa library hosts dream catcher program

Children can learn how to make dream catchers from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 2 at the Wauwatosa Public Library, 7635 W. North Ave.

Cutting, weaving and tying skills are required.

Wauwatosa Public Library schedules pajama party

A pajama party is slated for 7 p.m. July 5 at the Wauwatosa Public Library, 7635 W. North Ave.

There will be stories for the entire family.

Summer Arts in the Park at Wisconsin Lutheran College

Summer Arts in the Park begins at 5 p.m. June 28 with a performance by the Britins in the campus courtyard located between Bluemound Road and Wisconsin Avenue at 89th Street. All performances are free.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 7, there is an art and craft fair at the college. The event features art and craft booths, a silent auction and food, as well as entertainment throughout the day. Kids from Wisconsin, a group of young singers performing Broadway hits, will perform at 2 p.m.

Wisconsin Lutheran College is an alcohol-free campus.

Wauwatosa Public Library presents Olympic Dreams

WildCard Gymnastic students will present an Olympic-style show from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 9 in the Civic Center Auditorium, 7725 W. North Ave.

Secret Gardens of Wauwatosa Tour slated for July 14

The Wauwatosa Beautification Committee, Inc. presents its 18th annual Secret Gardens of Wauwatosa Tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 14.

The tour headquarters is the Kneeland-Walker House, 7406 Hilcrest Drive. Advanced tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the following ticket outlets: Alfa Flower Shop, Blue Lapin, The Flower Lady, Fruit of the Bloom, Hawks Nursery, Locker's Florist, Rose's Flower Shop and Wisconsin Garden & Pet.

Participants will tour seven private gardens, plus the gardens at the Kneeland-Walker house, where master gardeners and plant societies will be on hand selling plants and garden related items.

Dog Show set at the Wauwatosa Public Library

The Milwaukee Dog Training Club will present a program about dogs and dog safety from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 23 in the Firefly Room at the Wauwatosa Public Library, 7635 W. North Ave.

Relay for Life of Wauwatosa scheduled at Lutheran College

Relay For Life of Wauwatosa is scheduled for 6 p.m. July 27 to 8 a.m. July 28 at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Athletic Fields, 10200 W. Watertown Plank Road.
