THEFT

1A 43-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking a ring valued at $68 from Coach Leather at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 12:39 p.m. March 20.

2Two Milwaukee men, ages 49 and 18, were arrested for attempting to return for credit clothing valued at $158 at Macy's at Mayfair at 2:59 p.m. March 20. They had taken it from a shelf.

3An unknown female took a shirt valued at $62.95 from Buckle at Mayfair at 5:39 p.m. March 20.

4A drive-off gas theft of $57.45 was reported at Open Pantry, 11216 W. Bluemound Road, at 11:55 a.m. March 21.

5An 18-year-old man was arrested for retail theft of two shirts valued at $159 at Macy's at 11:02 a.m. March 22.

6A 23-year-old Sturtevant woman was arrested for retail theft for attempting to steal almost 20 items, valued at $437, from Victoria's Secret at Mayfair at 12:58 p.m. March 23. The items included lingerie, headbands, shorts and body sprays. She was recognized as a customer who has made excessive returns and had just purchased $150 worth of merchandise when she was seen putting the stolen items into a store bag.

7Tools, including a saw, two drills, a light, batteries and battery charger, valued at $500, were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3800 block of North 124th Street at 2:29 p.m. March 23.

8A 16-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for retail theft for taking two hooded sweatshirts and a shirt, valued at $139, from Hollister Co. in Mayfair at 10:36 a.m. March 24. After running from the store, he was chased and caught in the 11000 block of West North Avenue.

9A 41-year-old Milwaukee woman reported that her wallet and its contents, valued at $300, were stolen from her purse that she temporarily laid down while shopping at Boston Store at Mayfair at 5 p.m. March 24.

11A 26-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for taking headphones valued at $180 from the Apple Store in Mayfair at 8:24 p.m. March 24. A store employee followed him out of the store and, when questioned, the man gave the headphones back and ran until he was caught by security.

12A vehicle valued at $10,000 was taken from a driveway in the 1700 block of North 72nd Street between 5 p.m. March 24 and 9:50 a.m. March 25. Also taken was a $200 phone left in the unlocked vehicle.

13An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking headphones valued at $20 from the Apple Store at Mayfair at 2:15 p.m. March 25.

14Five pairs of sunglasses valued at $1,093 and one pair of sunglasses valued at $275 were taken in two instances - at 2:54 and 5:07 p.m. March 25. Store personnel said they suspected a group in the theft of the five pairs and a lone shopper in the theft of the single pair.

Six thefts of items valued at less than $50 were reported last week.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

15A 32-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after he was found with his head tilted forward and his vehicle in gear and running, stopped on Mayfair Road at North Avenue at 5:22 a.m. March 24. The man registered a 0.12 blood alcohol content on a breath test.

DRUG POSSESSION

16A 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of 17.6 grams of marijuana when he was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for an unregistered license plate in the 500 block of North 77th Street at 5:42 p.m. March 23.

VANDALISM

17A vehicle was egged, causing $200 in damage, in the 1200 block of North 118th Street between 10 p.m. March 12 and 7 a.m. March 13.

18An object was thrown through a large double-pane window at Pen Station, 11661 W. Bluemound Road, between 3:30 p.m. March 25 and 8:30 a.m. March 26. The dime-sized hole also could have been made by a bullet, police said, but there was no evidence to substantiate that.

OTHER

19A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she slapped an employee of Anew Healthcare Services, 7425 Harwood Ave., at 4:12 p.m. March 19. The woman was upset because she was not eligible to take a nursing class at the business because she had been arrested three times with one conviction for unspecified charges.

20A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for being truant several times at Wauwatosa East High School 7500 Milwaukee Ave., at 11:48 a.m. March 20.

21A 36-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct for continually asking for water and panhandling customers at George Webb, 6108 W. Bluemound Road, at 3:44 a.m. March 22.

A 57-year-old Wauwatosa woman reported that someone was using the Social Security number of her 23 year-old mentally disabled daughter. An IRS tax filing revealed the situation.

22A Waukesha man reported that $5,343 was charged between two credit cards he lost along with his wallet in the parking lot of his employer, Gexpro, 12221 Feerick St., at 12:27 p.m. March 23.

23A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for disorderly conduct when she yelled threats and pounded on a window at Discovery Clothing, 2857 N. Mayfair Road, at 10:01 a.m. March 24. Store management said the woman had just been fired for excessive absenteeism.

24A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after an argument led to shoving an employee at Walgreens, 2275 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:18 p.m. March 24.

25A 16-year-old resident of Carmelite Home for Boys, 1214 Kavanaugh Place, was arrested for an unspecified violation of parole at 3:04 p.m. March 26.

26An 83-year-old woman living in the 2000 block of North 83rd Street reported she was a fraud victim after giving a man $260 to work on her basement plumbing problems. He did not complete the work, and the incident was reported at 1:30 p.m. March 26.
