THEFT
1Two males took four bottles of vodka from Sentry, 6700 W. State St., at 10:07 p.m. Feb. 8. Loss is estimated at $116.
2A man took two bottles of liquor from Sentry, 6700 W. State St., at 6:55 p.m. Feb. 9. Loss is estimated at $51.
3Four bottles of liquor were stolen from Sentry, 6700 W. State St., between 7:55 and 7:58 p.m. Feb. 10. Police and employees suspect the thief is a 38-year-old Milwaukee man who committed an armed robbery and two retail thefts in the past.
4An iPad belonging to the Wauwatosa School District was taken from a district employee before 12:08 p.m. Feb. 11. The employee believes the iPad was taken while she was transporting it for updates. Loss is estimated at $540.
5A 54-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking a pair of sunglasses valued at $300 from Solstice at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 6:35 p.m. Feb. 11. He was identified via video surveillance and admitted to taking the glasses and then selling them for $65.
6An iPad, flash drive and other electronics were taken from an office at Principal Financial Group, 10200 Innovation Drive, between 7 p.m. Feb. 11 and 2 p.m. Feb. 12. Loss is estimated at $620.
7Valentine's Day gifts, a laptop computer and Vicodin pills were taken from a car at the Radisson Hotel, 2303 N. Mayfair Road, between 10 p.m. Feb. 11 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 12. Loss is estimated at $1,170. A window was broken to gain entry; damage is estimated at $250.
8A man took five bottles of liquor, a total value of $148, from Sentry, 6700 W. State St., at 6:35 p.m. Feb. 12. Police believe this man took liquor from Sentry on Feb. 8 as well.
9Four bottles of liquor were taken from Sentry, 6700 W. State St., at 8:37 p.m. Feb. 13. Police found the suspect in the 1300 block of North 68th Street, but he ran before he could be caught. Loss is estimated at $99.
10Two cars were broken into at Starbucks, 151 N. Mayfair Road, between 9:50 and 10:30 p.m. Feb. 13. In both cases, windows were broken to gain entry. Textbooks were taken from one car. Loss and damage in that case is estimated at $460. An iPod and game cards were taken from the other. Loss and damage is estimated at $420.
11A van's door was bent and several items including jewelry, electronics and tools were taken from the van while it was parked at Best Buy, 2421 N. Mayfair Road, between 2:20 and 2:45 p.m. Feb. 14. Loss and damage is estimated at $6,264.
12A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for stealing a box of chocolates from Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road, at 3:05 p.m. Feb. 14. He admitted to taking the merchandise, valued at $35, so he could give it as a Valentine's Day gift.
13A backpack and baby items were taken from a car at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, between 5:15 and 6:15 p.m. Feb. 14. A window was smashed to gain entry. Loss and damage is estimated at $179.
14A laptop computer and other items were taken from a vehicle parked at Jo Jo's Martini Lounge, 418 N. Mayfair Road, between 11:20 p.m. Feb. 14 and 1:10 a.m. Feb. 15. A window was smashed to gain entry. Loss and damage is estimated at $1,100.
15A backpack full of textbooks was taken from a vehicle in the 4500 block of North 92nd Street after one of the vehicle's windows was broken between 4 and 8:10 p.m. Feb. 15. Loss and damage is estimated at $735.
16A laptop computer was taken from a car parked at the Radisson, 2303 N. Mayfair Road, before 9:30 a.m. Feb. 16. Loss and damage is estimated at $1,020.
17A cellphone valued at $550 was stolen from a 14-year-old Milwaukee boy while he was at YMCA, 2420 N. 124th St., between 1 and 5:50 p.m. Feb. 16. The boy had hidden the phone behind a rock-climbing wall.
18Two 15-year-old Milwaukee girls were arrested for taking clothing valued at $514 from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 3:33 p.m. Feb. 16. One of the 15-year-olds has been arrested by Wauwatosa police five times for incidents including theft and obstructing an officer in the past three months.
19A 33-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking a $103 pair of jeans from Buckle at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 7:13 p.m. Feb. 16. The stolen merchandise set off an alarm while police were walking through the store. She has been convicted of retail theft in the last five years.
20A 54-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking $168 worth of boys clothing from Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road, at 3:48 p.m. Feb. 17.
Police responded to four thefts of items valued at less than $100 this week.
ASSAULT
A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken to Froedtert Hospital after her boyfriend punched her in the face six times at her home at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 13. The man's sister told police that he has six girlfriends and that she did not know where he lives. He was found and arrested at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 17.
DRUG POSSESSION
21A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was pulled over for driving 43 mph in a 30-mph zone in the 6900 block of West Bluemound Road at 2:19 a.m. Feb. 11. He was found with marijuana on his lap, which he said was food. A grinder and 5.25 grams of marijuana were found in his possession.
22A 21-year-old Wauwatosa woman and a 21-year-old Milwaukee man were arrested for drug possession after someone called police about the two smoking in their car in the 10400 block of Fisher Parkway at 4:07 p.m. Feb. 17. The woman gave police the blunt she was smoking, and officers searched the vehicle, finding a bottle of vodka and 0.42 grams of marijuana.
DRUNKEN DRIVING
23A 31-year-old Wauwatosa man was arrested for drunken driving after he drove his vehicle up a curb and failed to stop at an intersection in the 2600 block of North 62nd Street at 1:31 a.m. Feb. 11. Blood test results are pending.
24A 32-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after his vehicle was seen swerving in the 10900 block of West Bluemound Road, nearly striking a bus, at 11:47 p.m. Feb. 11. His blood-alcohol content was 0.27.
ACCIDENTS
25A 56-year-old woman was taken to Froedtert Hospital after she was hit by a car while walking into Walgreens, 2656 Wauwatosa Ave., at 12:10 p.m. Feb. 10. The car was driven by an 87-year-old man, who was said to be driving less than 5 mph.
26A 36-year-old woman was taken to Froedtert Hospital for evaluation after she rear-ended a car at a red light in the 2300 block of Swan Boulevard, causing a four-car crash at 11 a.m. Feb. 14. Two other drivers and one passenger also were taken to Froedtert as a result of the crash. The 36-year-old woman was cited for inattentive driving, not having insurance and driving with a suspended license.
VANDALISM
27A crowned ghost or jellyfish was painted on an emergency door at The Home Depot, 4100 N. 124th St., before 3 p.m. Feb. 15.
OTHER
28A 32-year-old West Allis man was arrested on a Dane County Sherriff's Office warrant after he was seen urinating on the ground at 68th Street and Bluemound Road at 12:34 a.m. Feb. 13.
29A 37-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he drank a beer in a bathroom at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:52 p.m. Feb. 14. Security officers said he was yelling at them on his way out and crouching in a fighting stance, prompting the arrest.
