THEFT

1A credit card was used to make two fraudulent transactions at Walmart, 3850 N. 124th St. A total of $607 was charged to the card. The card owner reported the transactions at 2 a.m. Feb. 14.

2A woman stole a $470 laptop from Kmart, 3201 N. Mayfair Road, at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 17.

3A $100 cellphone was stolen from a student's backpack at Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center St., between 10 and 11 a.m. Feb. 19.

4An employee's purse was stolen at Maggiano's Little Italy at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, between 6 and 6:45 p.m. Feb. 20. She had left the purse behind and underneath the counter. A cellphone and keys were inside it when it was taken. Loss is estimated at $720.

5A man took five to 10 pairs of men's jeans from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 12:10 p.m. Feb. 21.

Police responded to one theft of items valued at less than $100.

DRUG POSSESSION

6A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drug possession after he smoked a marijuana blunt on the baseball diamond behind the Fisher Building, 12121 W. North Ave,. at 9:05 p.m. Feb. 17. He had 0.61 grams of marijuana on him.

7A 25-year-old West Allis woman was arrested for driving under the influence of a narcotic after making a U-turn and stopping at a green light at Mayfair and Bluemound roads at 6:36 p.m. Feb. 20. She told officers she had taken a double-dose of Xanax. Blood test results are pending.

8A 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, both from Peoria, Ill., were arrested for marijuana possession after they were pulled over for driving without headlights in the 2200 block of Ludington Avenue at 1:33 a.m. Feb. 23. Police found a marijuana blunt, grinder and 2.14 grams of marijuana in the car.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

9A 38-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after he was pulled over for weaving, turning without signaling and speeding in the 11200 block of West North Avenue at 10:07 p.m. Feb. 21. His blood-alcohol content was 0.18.

10A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after he was pulled over for driving 15 mph over the speed limit in the 6900 block of West Bluemoud Road at 2:29 a.m. Feb. 23. He refused to take a breath test; blood test results are pending.

ACCIDENTS

11A woman, her three children and her grandchild received medical attention after their car was T-boned by a truck as they left Target, 3900 N. 124th St., at 7:27 p.m. Feb. 16.

12A 52-year-old Oak Creek man was taken to Froedtert Hospital after he crashed his car into another at 116th Street and Walnut Road at 7:33 a.m. Feb. 18. The other driver, a 42-year-old West Bend man, was tended to by firefighters but not taken to the hospital.

13A 65-year-old man was treated for low blood sugar by Wauwatosa Fire Department medical responders while he was pulled over at Wisconsin Avenue and 99th Street at 9:35 a.m. Feb. 20. His car's rear end was damaged and he thought he had run over a bumper. He found out later that a tractor-trailer struck a pickup, which struck his vehicle, causing the damage.

VANDALISM

14A car's tire was slashed in the 5800 block of West Wisconsin Avenue between 3:50 and 5 p.m. Feb. 21. Damage is estimated at $100.

15A truck window was smashed outside Starbucks. 151 N. Mayfair Road, between 9:15 and 10:30 p.m. Feb. 24. Damage is estimated at $250.

OTHER

16A 22-year-old Nashotah woman sold a stolen iPad to Game Stop at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 3 p.m. Jan. 21.

17Steinkellner Decorating Center, 8834 W. North Ave., received a fraudulent $195 check from another business at 10 a.m. Jan. 25. Police are following up with other Wauwatosa businesses that had similar complaints against the same company that issued the check.

An 82-year-old Wauwatosa woman called police after someone claiming to be from AT&T called her and asked for personal information at 10 a.m. Feb. 16. She called AT&T the next day, and was told no one from the company had tried contacting her.

18A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was put in protective custody after he made suicidal threats at the bus stop at Wauwatosa and North avenues at 12:14 a.m. Feb. 21. He was taken to Froedtert Hospital.

19A security guard at Luther Manor, 4545 N. 92nd St., called police after he got a phone call from a restricted number with a male on the line who claimed to have just raped someone at 5:53 a.m. Feb. 21. The caller said he took a black girl off the street and raped her. Wauwatosa police checked with the two bordering Milwaukee districts, who said they had had no reports of rape.

20A dog bit an 8-year-old Wauwatosa boy on the face at a home in the 2300 block of North 70th Street at 4:15 p.m. Feb. 22. The child suffered two cuts on his face.

21A snowblower fell off a trailer at Wauwatosa Avenue and Wright Street at 6:23 p.m. Feb. 22. The truck didn't stop, and the snowblower was turned over to the police.

Police responded to one domestic disturbance call last week.
