BURGLARY

1Two bicycles were taken from an unlocked garage in the 6100 block of Washington Circle between 8 a.m. Sept. 20 and 8 a.m. Sept. 23. Loss is estimated at $1,000.

2A laptop computer, electronics, jewelry and a bag of coins were taken from a home in the 2000 block of Menomonee River Parkway between 5:15 and 8:30 p.m. Sept. 25. A window was smashed to gain entry. Loss is estimated at $2,117.

3Two televisions, camera equipment, a tablet computer and 16 DVDs were taken from an unlocked home in the 6800 block of Auburn Avenue between 4:45 p.m. Sept. 26 and 3 p.m. Sept. 27. Loss is estimated at $2,400.

THEFT

4An employee of JCPenny Warehouse, 11800 W. Burleigh St., is suspected of stealing customer's credit card information between 7 a.m. Sept. 1 and 3 p.m. Sept. 16. She admitted to copying three credit card numbers, giving two to her sister and using the third for herself. A total of $2,350 in fraudulent purchases were made.

· Someone opened a credit card using a Wauwatosa man's personal information between 9 a.m. Sept. 1 and 11:20 a.m. Sept. 20. They made $1,800 in fraudulent charges.

5A piece of luggage containing $615 worth of Blu-ray discs was stolen from Target, 3900 N. 124th St., at 7:07 p.m. Sept. 11. The theft was carried by two people, with one stuffing the luggage full of merchandise and the other wheeling the luggage out of the store.

6Copper parts were ripped out of an air conditioner in a backyard in the 2300 block of North 85th Street between 5 p.m. Sept. 20 and 1 p.m. Sept. 25. Loss is estimated at $750.

7An unlocked bicycle was stolen from the 1300 block of North 72nd Street between 11:30 and 11:35 p.m. Sept. 21. The $1,000 bicycle went missing after left on a sidewalk outside Leff's Lucky Town, 7208 W. State St., while its owner went to talk with a friend.

8A wallet, GPS unit, sunglasses and disc golf equipment were stolen from an unlocked car in the 800 block of North 115th Street between 9 a.m. Sept. 22 and 12:30 a.m. Sept. 23. Credit cards from the wallet were used to make $159 in fraudulent purchases. Loss is estimated at $680.

9A wallet was stolen from a vehicle in the 2600 block of North 70th Street between 9 p.m. Sept. 23 and 8 a.m. Sept. 24. Credit cards from the wallet were used to make fraudulent purchases.

10Two men were arrested for theft, drug possession and on retail theft warrants after they were caught taking $103 in liquor from Target, 3900 N. 124th St., at 2:26 p.m. Sept. 24. They had 0.38 grams of marijuana in their possession.

11A man was arrested after he tried to pick up a laptop computer he bought with a stolen credit card at Best Buy, 2421 N. Mayfair Road, at 6:17 p.m. Sept. 24. He had a fake ID and gave police a fake name.

12A cellphone was taken from an employee of Abercrombie & Fitch at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, while she worked between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 27. She hid the $100 phone but suspects a customer took it after she left it unattended.

13A woman was arrested for taking 22 items, including a fruit tray, a sheet cake and baby care items, from Sentry Foods, 6700 W. State St., at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 28. The items had a total value of $229.

14A man was arrested for taking $245 worth of jeans from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:01 p.m. Sept. 28.

15A 2001 Dodge Neon was stolen from a parking lot in the 9600 block of West Hampton Avenue between 11 p.m. Sept. 28 and midnight Sept. 29. A $100 GPS unit and a $200 car seat were in the car.

· Police responded to two thefts of items valued at less than $100.

ASSAULT

16A boy was arrested after he slapped another student in the cafeteria of Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center St., at 12:50 p.m. Sept. 26.

17A woman and a man were arrested for battery after being involved in a fight in the food court at Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 3:49 p.m. Sept. 28. The woman was bumped into by another woman's child and swore at her, causing the mother to intervene. The fight escalated, with the man entering the fray. The fight was broken up by mall security.

DRUG POSSESSION

18A man was arrested for drug possession after he was seen smoking marijuana in a car parked in the 9100 block of West Meinecke Avenue at 3:43 p.m. Sept. 23. He had a marijuana roach and one gram of marijuana on him.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

19A man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, after he was found passed out behind the wheel in the 400 block of North 97th Street at 3:57 a.m. Sept. 28. Loud music was playing, and the officer was unable to wake the man after knocking on the glass and shaking his shoulder. His blood-alcohol content was 0.17.

20A man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, after he ran through a red light at Bluemound Road and Elm Spring Avenue at 10:49 p.m. Sept. 28. Blood test results are pending.

ACCIDENTS

21A man was taken to the hospital after the vehicle he was riding in was hit by another car as it went through the intersection at Auer Avenue and Argonne Drive at 5:55 p.m. Sept. 28. The driver of the car the man was riding in was cited for failure to yield.

OTHER

22A counterfeit $100 bill was found at Wisconsin Heart Hospital, 10000 W. Bluemound Road, at 8:17 a.m. Sept. 26. It was used to make a $1 purchase on Aug. 22.
