Police Report: April 8

ROBBERY

1Three people were arrested for attempting to rob a woman in her car at Capitol Drive and Mayfair Road at 12:31 a.m. March 31.

BURGLARY

2Two mountain bikes were stolen from a residential garage in the 2500 block of North 62nd Street between March 28 and April 4. The garage door was unlocked.

3Millennium Housing Foundation, 11061 W. Bluemound Road, was broken into between 4:30 p.m. April 1 and 7 a.m. April 2. There are no suspects, and nothing was taken.

4A bike was stolen from a garage in the 6000 block of Washington Circle between 10 and 11:30 p.m. April 2. A door had been left unlocked.

5A rock was thrown through a window at a home in the 10900 block of West Derby Avenue in an apparent burglary attempt between 10:30 p.m. April 2 and 8 a.m. April 3.

6A window was smashed in the rear entrance of a home in the 1100 block of North 119th Street in an apparent burglary attempt between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. April 3.

7Reardon Metal Fabrication, 4460 N. 124th St., was entered through a rear window between 4 p.m. April 4 and 6:50 a.m. April 5. Nothing was stolen.

THEFT

8Three unlocked cars were broken into in the 11900 block of West Dearbourn Avenue between 10:30 p.m. March 30 and 8:50 a.m. March 31.

9A man was arrested for possessing stolen property in the 11500 block of Park Hill Avenue about 12:01 a.m. April 1.

10A stolen GPS was found in a yard in the 2600 block of North 114th Street at 6:15 a.m. April 1.

11A woman was arrested for stealing $114 in merchandise from Macy's at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 6:48 p.m. April 1.

12Watches were stolen from Macy's at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, about 7:50 p.m. April 1. Loss is estimated at $990.

13Two males stole three pair of sunglasses from Sunglass Hut at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road., about 3:30 p.m. April 2. Loss is estimated at $700.

14A female stole four pair of sunglasses, a value of more than $1,200, from Sunglass Hut at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, about 3:30 p.m. April 2.

15A customer's purse was stolen at Walmart Neighborhood Market, 3850 N. 124th St., between 5:30 and 6 p.m. April 3.

16A female was arrested for stealing $230 in merchandise from Target, 3900 N. 124th St., at 5:10 p.m. April 4.

17A man was arrested for stealing a bottle of vodka valued at $13 from Pick 'n Save, 6950 W. State St., at 9:12 p.m. April 4.

18Five buckets of sand were stolen from a Department of Public Works project at 117th and Cherry streets at 9:45 a.m. April 5. The thief was driving a black truck.

19A 14-year-old girl stole $160 in clothing from Macy's at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:20 p.m. April 5.

20A man stole sunglasses valued at $400 from Sunglass Hut at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 6:15 p.m. April 5.

VANDALISM

21A 2006 Toyota Corolla was vandalized whilein a driveway in the 200 block of North 116th Street between 1:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. April 1.

OTHER

22A woman was cited because her dog bit a man near 64th Street and Milwaukee Avenue at 8:35 a.m. April 1.

· A Wauwatosa woman's Social Security number was fraudulently used to file federal income taxes before noon April 3.
