Wauwatosa Police Report: June 12, 2014 issue

Theft

1 Money had been stolen by a former employee at an unidentified business at 6108 W. Bluemound Road, between Feb. 1 and May 14.

2 A woman was arrested for retail theft for taking $69 worth of merchandise at Old Navy, 11500 W. Burleigh St., at 1:56 p.m. June 1.

3 A 2000 Chrysler Voyager van was stolen from a residence in the 9900 block of West North Avenue prior to 7:02 a.m. June 2.

4 A man stole two baseball hats from Lids, in Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 12:15 p.m. June 2. They were each valued at $50.

5 A man was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 6950 W. State St., at 1:49 p.m. June 2.

6 A man was arrested for stealing a T-shirt from Macy's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 2:50 p.m. June 3.

7 Three theft incidents at The Home Depot, 4100 N. 124th St., over three days are believed to be related. A man stole two lawn mowers, valued at $758, at 6:38 p.m. June 1. A man stole two air-conditioning units, valued at about $600, at 2:04 p.m. June 2. And a man stole two air-conditioning units, valued at $700, at 5:55 p.m. June 3.

8 A woman stole a tablet computer, valued at $270, from Target, 3900 N. 124th St., at 12:40 p.m. June 4 by removing the theft protection device.

9 A woman was arrested for stealing groceries from Metcalfe's Sentry, 6700 W. State St., at 2:27 p.m. June 4.

10 A juvenile was arrested for retail theft valued at $112 from Macy's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:58 p.m. June 4.

11 A woman was arrested for stealing $473 worth of items from The Home Depot at 9:17 p.m. June 4.

12 A 2004 Dodge Intrepid was stolen between 5:30 and 11 p.m. June 4 from a parking lot in the 9100 block of West North Avenue.

13 A 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan was stolen from a driveway in the 2500 block of North 91st Street between 10 p.m. June 4 and 7:30 a.m. June 5.

14 The ignition was removed from a vehicle in an apparent theft attempt in the 9000 block of West North Avenue between 6 p.m. June 4 and 10 a.m. June 5.

15 A man reported that 700 "magic" cards were stolen from an unidentified location in the 2400 block of North 70th Street between February 4 and May 30. The cards are valued between $188 and $1,500.

Drug offenses

16 A woman non-fatally overdosed on heroin while inside a vehicle at Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road, at 7:07 p.m. June 6.

Impaired driving

17 A woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 11100 block of West Meinecke Avenue at 2:41 a.m. June 1. Her blood alcohol content results are pending.

18 A man was arrested for drunken driving (fourth offense) in the 10100 block of West Sharon Lane at 3:38 a.m. June 4. His blood alcohol content results are pending.

19 A man was arrested for drunken driving after he crashed his motorcycle on North Mayfair Road and West Fiebrantz Avenue at 11:56 p.m. June 4. His blood alcohol content results are pending.

Vandalism

20 A car window was smashed in the rear lot in the 1500 block of Underwood Avenue between 7 and 9 p.m. June 3.

21 A vehicle was vandalized while parked in a parking lot in the 4700 block of North 100th Street at 10:35 p.m. June 3.

Other

22 A woman's debit card was fraudulently used to purchase $1,644 worth of items from Best Buy in Greenfield after she lost her wallet in a parking lot in the 3000 block of North 117th Street between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. June 2.

23 A man was arrested on a warrant through the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department at 3:10 a.m. June 3 in the 800 block of North 68th Street.

24 Two females were arrested on a warrant through the Glendale Police Department and Greenfield Police Department, respectively, at 9:07 p.m. at Target, 3900 N. 124th St.

25 A juvenile was issued a citation for habitual truancy at Wauwatosa East High School, 7500 Milwaukee Ave., at 10 a.m. June 4.

26 A man was arrested on a municipal warrant at West Hadley Street and Hartung Avenue at 5:30 p.m. June 4.

Disorderly conduct

27 A woman was arrested for battery and theft by fraud at Applebee's, 6750 W. State St.., at 11:30 p.m. June 4.

28 A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct following a traffic stop in the 3300 block of North 76th Street at 7:15 p.m. June 3.

29 An unidentified person was arrested on June 4 for disorderly conduct that took place at Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center St. between 2:45 and 4 p.m. June 3.
