Wauwatosa Police Report: Sept. 4

Burglary

1A woman's residence was reportedly burglarized between 12:15 and 1:35 p.m. in the 4200 block of North 93rd Street. The suspect caused $500 in damage.

Theft

2Two juveniles were arrested for retail theft at Macy's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 5:49 p.m. Aug. 24. It was learned later that they were driving a stolen vehicle.

3Three unknown male suspects stole three bottles of Absolut vodka from Pick 'n Save, 6950 W. State St., at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 24.

A man's personal check was fraudulently cashed at Credit Union Service Center, 6402 W. Brown Deer Road, at 1:14 p.m. Aug. 25.

4An unknown suspect stole almost $950-worth of cosmetics and beauty items from Ulta Beauty in Mayfair Collection, 11500 W. Burleigh St., at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 25.

5A woman's Samsung Galaxy S4 cellphone was reportedly stolen from her tote bag while she was at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, between 12 and 1 p.m. Aug. 25.

6Personal items were stolen from a woman's unlocked car in the 2300 block of North 119th Street between 12 a.m. Aug. 22 and 8 a.m. Aug. 23.

7A woman's wallet was reportedly stolen while at Redemption Lutheran Church, 4057 N. Mayfair Road, between 2 and 4:53 p.m. Aug. 23. Her credit cards were later used fraudulently.

8Two unknown male suspects committed retail theft at Walgreens, 6600 W. State Street, at 8:45 p.m. Aug. 25.

9Unknown suspects were seen on video surveillance stealing merchandise, valued at $549, from Lowe's, 12000 W. Burleigh St., at about 7:30 p.m. Aug. 25.

10A woman's purse was reportedly stolen while she was working at Oak Park Place, 1621 Rivers Bend, between 1 and 2 p.m. Aug. 24.

11A woman's purse was stolen during a car theft while she was parked at the YMCA, 2420 N. 124th St., between 9 and 9:15 a.m. Aug. 27. Her credit card was later used fraudulently.

12Unknown suspects stole two hubcaps and a side view mirror from a National Guard Vehicle at the Holiday Inn Express, 11111 W. North Ave., between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 26 and 10:50 a.m. Aug. 27.

13A man was arrested for retail theft at Home Depot, 4100 N. 124th Street, at 10:40 a.m. Aug. 28.

14Spare change was stolen during a car theft in the 1800 block of North 69th Street between 5 and 9 p.m. on Aug. 27.

15A juvenile was arrested for retail theft at Macy's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 1:10 p.m. Aug. 28. The items valued $160 in total.

16A woman was arrested for retail theft at Sunglass Hut in Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 8:28 p.m. Aug. 28.

17A Kmart employee reportedly scanned three pieces of merchandise totaling $24.26 and then let a customer leave the store with a 50-inch LED flat screen television and two Xbox One video players. The total value of the Xbox and television are about $1,600.

18A man was arrested for theft after giving unauthorized discounts on merchandise while working at Target, 3900 N. 124th Street, at 4:23 p.m. Aug. 29.

19A unknown female suspect stole six bottles of cologne from Ulta Beauty in Mayfair Collection, 11500 W. Burleigh Street, at 4:33 p.m. Aug. 29.

20A woman was arrested for stealing a Sutter Home Chardonnay four-pack from Sentry, 6700 W. State St., at 3:56 p.m. Aug. 30.

Drug offenses

21A man was arrested for heroin possession, drug paraphernalia and probation violation after he was found unresponsive in a car in the 2300 block of N. 89th Street at 11:17 p.m. Aug. 25.

22A man was arrested for marijuana possession while at the Radisson Hotel, 2303 N. Mayfair Road, at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 26.

23A man was arrested for marijuana possession at the intersection of Wauwatosa Avenue and Lincoln Place at 9:33 p.m. Aug. 30.

Drunken driving

24A woman was arrested for drunken driving at the intersection of N. 103rd Street and West Burleigh Street at 10 p.m. Aug. 24.

25A man was arrested for drunken driving in the Lowe's parking lot, 12000 W. Burleigh St., at 9:03 p.m. Aug. 24.

26A woman was arrested for drunken driving and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia in the 11100 block of West Bluemound Road at 3:56 a.m. Aug. 29. This was the woman's second drunken driving offense.

27A man was arrested for drunken driving in the 6100 block of W. Bluemound Road, at 1:05 a.m. Aug. 30. His blood alcohol content was 0.10.

28A man was arrested for drunken driving in the 7000 block of W. Blue Mound Road, at 4:43 p.m. Aug. 30. This was his third offense.

Vandalism

29The rear passenger window of a red Buick Electra was smashed between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 24 while parked in the 2100 block of N. 62nd St.

Other

30An unknown male suspect attempted to burglarize a home before the resident discovered him and shouted at him in the 2500 block of N. 63rd St. at 11:08 a.m. Aug. 26. The suspect fled. Nothing was stolen.
