More groups eligible for swine flu vaccine at Thursday's clinic

Nov. 16, 2009

The Wauwatosa Health Department will offer H1N1 vaccinations to healthy children and most adults with chronic medical conditions, as well as people in other target groups, at its clinic Thursday.

From 3 to 6:30 p.m., the following people can get immunized at City Hall: pregnant women, health care workers, all children ages 6 months to 18 years, those who care for infants younger than 6 months, and adults 19 to 64 who have chronic medical conditions that put them at higher risk for influenza-related complications.

The waiting line may extend outdoors, so people are advised to dress in weather-appropriate clothing.

Enter the parking lot off from Wauwatosa Avenue.
