A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested after a home in the 1600 block of Mountain Avenue was invaded Sunday.
According to the Wauwatosa police report:
The homeowner was changing her clothes at 12:30 p.m. when she heard the front door open. She assumed it was one of her children returning from playing outside, but she saw a man coming up the stairs.
He pointed a gun, said he wanted money and ordered her to the floor. She showed him there was no money in her purse.
As they walked from the kitchen, she bolted out the front door screaming, and the robber ran to a vehicle and drove away.
Officers found the vehicle in Milwaukee after it struck a telephone pole.
