A man trying to get away from a Pick 'n Save security guard pulled a knife Friday afternoon.
According to Wauwatosa police:
A man stuffed eight bottles of vodka, valued at $259, under his jacket and walked out of the Mayfair Road store. The security guard chased him and they started to struggle. As they fought, a car pulled up and the suspect was able to open the passenger door and yell to the driver to give him a knife.
The guard continued to fight with man and hold back the arm holding the knife. Meanwhile, the man slipped out of his sweatshirt, crawled into the vehicle and the dark green Dodge Ram quickly pulled away.
The security guard was not injured.
