Eisenhower Elementary

First-graders took a trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 20. The focus was on communities and worldwide holiday traditions.

Kradwell School

Kradwell School continued its tradition of supporting the community through the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee. The Decisions Class students organized a drive and successfully collected 313 pounds of food and $210 to help those in need.

McKinley Elementary

McKinley had an senior kindergarten through third-grade concert on Dec. 13 and a fourth- and fifth-grade concert Dec. 14.

Mercy Academy

Seventh- and eighth-graders celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe with Mexican food, hymns and prayers in Spanish, and traditional devotions. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the patron saint of the Americas.

Our Redeemer Lutheran

The faculty, staff and some parents baked and delivered holiday cookie trays to the Wauwatosa Police and Fire departments as well as City Hall, the Health Department, Mayfair Main Office and Security Office and Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home.

St. Jude the Apostle

Members of the Math Club have qualified through a proctored exam to continue academic preparation for the state Math Counts Competition in February. Extracurricular club offerings continue, with Bowling Club being offered to first- through eighth-grade students beginning in January.

Underwood Elementary

Third-graders will take a field trip to the Pabst Mansion to supplement social studies curriculum and to study community landmarks from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. Dec. 21.

Wauwatosa Catholic

Students in junior kindergarten and kindergarten performed "O Come, Little Children" Dec. 10. The students in grades one through eight performed a concert titled "Sing a Song of People: The Advent and Christmas Season" on Dec. 13.

Wauwatosa STEM

In conjunction with physics curriculum, students have been working on designing a catapult with limited materials. The students will compete to throw a marshmallow as far as possible in an event titled The Snowball Sling from noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 19.

Wauwatosa West High

West is holding auditions for its winter play Dec. 20.

Wilson Elementary

The first-graders will host the Masterpiece Gallery, showcasing their artwork to family and friends, from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Dec. 21.
